After a gap of long days I am here blogging. I always love reading Aditya Das Menon's blogs. This time he posted a cracker of a post. It is simply superb. I always like his ways of writing. Infact this time he made me write something. Let me scribble something which happeened recently.
                   Wify was pestering me for long to go for an outing and we decided to make a trip to Mysore last week. Eventhough I have visited Mysore number of times, this visit had a difference. This was my first visit as a captain. Leading the team of my family members. our team of six consists of Myself, wife, kids(1.5yr old twins), MIL and BIL. 

                       We started from Bangalore on friday morning 7 AM. I always like driving thru the Bangalore-Mysore highway. Most of the time I zipped thru the road  at 140km speed. We reached Mysore at around 11 o clock. We took a four bed room in Mayura Yatri Nivas, KSTDC hotel. Initially we thought of availing the sightseeing bus facility to see the places around. But later decided to use our car so that it will be comfortable. 
                          First we went to Chamundi hills. The winding roads towards chamundeswari temple made my Daughter vomit. Sonny, was in cheerful mood. Normaly he used to be the culprit during journeys. The sun was burning down heavily. We decided not to enter the temple as there was mad rush for the darshan. So we decied praying infront of the gate and clicked some photos and drove down  the hill. On the way back went to Zoo. Never ever I had such a wonderful feeling visiting a zoo. The amazing sight of giraffe greeted us. It looked so beautiful and healthy. We started walking to explore the zoo. Watched lot of wide varities of lovely birds. Then tigers, Hippo, Rhino, Monkeys etc. But the major attraction was Chimpanzee and Gorilla. Mysore zoo is the only place in India where you can view a Gorilla. While watching channels like Discovery and National Geo I used to think when will I get a chance to see all this in real. Wify was telling to my kids "Monu-Molu Look your Papa's friend".. I also enjoyed that. Chimpu was enjoying the crowd but Gori was little upset about something. We left zoo without watching all the animals. We should have devoted half a day for that.
                Next we went to Palace. Securty was tightened inside the palace. After that in the evening went to Brindavan gardens and reached room at around 9 pm.
